The nationwide action followed Amazon’s repeated refusal to follow the law and bargain with the thousands of Amazon workers who’ve organized with the Teamsters, including Teamsters at San Francisco’s DCK6 Amazon warehouse who demanded union recognition last fall.
In addition to the picket line in San Francisco, Teamsters from every local union in Joint Council 7 participated in around-the-clock picket lines at 10 Amazon fulfillment centers throughout the Central Valley and Northern Nevada.
