Contract includes wage increases, employer-paid medical, and salary study
(MARTINEZ, Calif.) — More than 2,100 Contra Costa County workers represented by Teamsters Local 856 have overwhelmingly voted to ratify a new two-year contract, averting a strike.
The thousands of county employees who work in health services, licensed vocational nursing, and general services and maintenance, had authorized a strike by 92% and were set to walk off the job before an agreement was reached in mediation last week.

Firestone Auto Care Workers Vote to Join Teamsters Local 665
(SANTA ROSA, Calif.) — Automotive Technicians, Service Specialists and Retail Salespersons working at the Firestone Auto Care Center have overwhelmingly voted to join Teamsters Local 665.
