Wage, pension gains for Napa Recycling workers!

Materials Recovery Facility workers at Napa Recycling and Waste Services happily and unanimously ratified an exciting contract last month. Members added more paid holidays, more vacation and will move to one of the best Teamsters medical plans available, and the employer will pick up the full cost including maintenance of benefits.
Additionally, each member will experience a nearly 45% increase in wages over the five year contract, much of which is front-loaded. Five years ago, this group was thrilled to add Western Conference Pensions to the contract with decent increases. This time they are improving pension contributions by 165% over five years.
