Local 315 Member Shelma Reyna lost her life after tragic incident at work

Teamsters Local 315, family members and rank-and-file Teamsters participated in a prayer vigil on October 5 in memory and honor of a UPS Teamsters part-timer who tragically lost her life on the job in September.

The vigil, held outside the Richmond North Bay UPS facility, commemorated the life and labor of Local 315 member Shelma Reyna, a mother of five who passed away following a tragic incident inside a UPS trailer on Sept. 21. CAL-OSHA, the California Department of Industrial Relations, is continuing an ongoing investigation.

Sister Reyna’s family and co-workers were in attendance to pay their respects and mourn the loss of a beautiful life cut far too short.
